Gestanin is a progestogen structurally related to progesterone that has been given in threatened
and habitual abortion, and to prevent premature labour.However, with the exception of proven progesterone deficiency,
such use is no longer recommended.

Directions of Gestanin 5 mg :
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor.
Dosage: one tablet three times a day and maximum up to 4 tablets a day until symptoms improve.
Cautions of Gestanin 5 mg :
Check with your doctor if you have cardiac or renal dysfunction, migraine, epilepsy, and asthma.
Possible side effects of Gestanin 5 mg :
Gastrointestinal complaints like nausea, vomiting, epigastric discomfort have been reported.
What happens if I overdose?
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unusual drowsiness; rapid pulse; fainting; unusual muscle movement or rigidity of the face, neck, or limbs; seizures; and loss of consciousness.
